APS Registration Requirements
Please update your ParentVue account information for each student to be enrolled at ADO for the 2021-22 school year. If you have a child beginning kindergarten who has never been in an APS pre-K program, and you do not have any other children enrolled in APS, click here to start the enrollment process.
Please upload any required documents into ParentVue for each student or email the documents to francesca.tapia@aps.edu or henley@aps.edu if you have difficulty uploading them into ParentVue.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS for the 2021-22 School Year:
New to APS (this includes students entering kindergarten):
Upload each student's Birth Certificate, Immunization Records, and (if applicable) Certificate of Indian Blood.
All families need to provide proof of residency each school year.
They Proof of Residency within the ADO boundaries documents would normally be provided in person during our final school registration events. Because of the public health order due to the coronavirus pandemic, we will not be hosting those events at this time. Therefore, we are asking that all proof of residency documents for the 2021-22 school year be provided online.
Please upload two (2) proof of residency documents (one (1) from List A and one (1) from List B) into ParentVue. All documents must include the registering parent or guardian's name and address, and the receipts or bills must be dated after July 1, 2021 to be considered current. Among the documents that will be accepted to establish residency are:
Proof of Residency* Document: List A
choose one (dated after July 1, 2021)
- A deed or mortgage payment receipt
- A current property tax bill,
- current lease or housing agreement
and Proof of Residency* Document: List B
choose one (dated after July 1, 2021)
- A current (within 30 days of registration date) utility (electric, gas, or land-line phone bill)
- A current (within 30 days of registration date) Comcast/X-finity, Dish, or Direct TV bill
Parents/guardians, please take a picture or scan your proof of residency and upload it to your child's (children's) registration in ParentVue. If you have difficulty uploading the documents into ParentVue, you may email the registration documents to francesca.tapia@aps.edu or henley@aps.edu. Please be sure to note: 2021-22 registration documents in the subject area of the email.
If your student is being transferred to ADO from another APS school* - upload a copy of the transfer approval letter/email.
*Parents of students enrolled in the SCSS District programs at ADO do not need to submit ADO residency documentation.
*Families living with family or friends:
For families currently living with family or friends within the ADO school boundaries, please call the school office to request a Family Living With Family or Friends form. This form must be updated yearly, and all proof of residency documents must match the (family/friend) owner's information. In addition, since we cannot meet face to face at this time, a picture ID of the owner needs to be included as part of the documentation or have the Family Living with Family or Friends form notarized.
Additional documentation may be needed:
- Updated Immunization Records
- (our health office will be in contact with you if additional immunizations or records are needed)
- Custodial documentation (if applicable)
If your child's (children's) previous school was outside of the APS district you will also need to provide:
- the previous school's address and phone number
- a copy of student's IEP or 504 plan (if applicable)
At this time the school is not open to drop-in visitors, however if you need assistance, please call the school office at 505-821-9393. We will do our best to help you over the phone or via a virtual meeting, or if needed, we will schedule a face to face appointment to assist you with registering your child (children).
